Cleveland Fencing Academy (CFA) is growing once again, and this time we’re bringing the sport of fencing to the west side of Cleveland. We’re excited to announce the grand opening of our brand-new location inside the Screw Factory Building in Lakewood, officially opening its doors on October 1st. Conveniently located just off I-90, this new space will make it easier than ever for west side families to experience the excitement of fencing.
At CFA Lakewood, we’ll be offering classes and private lessons in all three Olympic fencing disciplines—foil, saber, and epee. Whether your child is picking up a sword for the very first time or you’re an adult looking to sharpen your skills, our programs are designed for every age and skill level.
The Screw Factory Building offers a unique and welcoming environment, and with a park right nearby, it’s an especially family-friendly setting. Parents can enjoy the neighborhood while their kids train, and students of all ages will appreciate the energy and atmosphere of this creative hub.
CFA has built a reputation for developing athletes who succeed both on and off the strip. From beginners learning the basics to advanced fencers competing at national levels, our coaching team is committed to helping each student reach their potential. Coach Eric and the rest of the CFA family are eager to welcome new members and continue growing Cleveland’s fencing community.
