Payments

Tuition is paid in monthly installments based on the chosen program for the academic year. The year runs from September 1st through June 15th. Tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month. Payment made after the 5th will be assessed a $20 late fee. The student is required to keep a valid payment method on file for ad hoc charges like armory fees, event fees, late membership dues and other valid and communicated charges. Tuition and other charges outstanding at the 5th of every month will be charged to the card on file. There is a $25 fee for all returned checks.

 

  • Tuition fees automatically renew each month. While there is no contract, should you wish to drop your membership the student is required to notify the CFA by email to info@clevelandfencingacademy.com of cancellation by the 15th of the prior month to avoid being charged on the 1st. Failure to provide such notice will result in continued charges to your account. Your account will remain open and active until written notice is received.
  • No refunds are given for months where the student does not attend and does not provide proper cancellation notice.

Tuition is prorated for the first month only according to the day of the month enrolled. Full tuition is charged for all subsequent months until 15 days written notice is given to terminate enrollment. Failure to attend classes or bouting does not relieve the student of the obligation to pay the full membership, fee or tuition for the program or phase in which they are enrolled.
