7 days of the week. 7 colors in a rainbow. 7 members of my household. 7 medals at the Arnold Fencing Classic this weekend earned by 6 different fencers in 2 different weapons.
I’ll never forget how our kids put in 150% effort to make their moms and dads, brothers and sisters, and coaches and friends proud of them. But more importantly, we collectively made it known that any fencer with a CFA patch on their shoulder is a force of nature to be reckoned with!
What a threshold moment for our Academy. As a team we experienced it all this weekend: for some of you it was the first time it’s such a large event, some of you won your first bout or got your first touch, some of you won your first DE bout, and some of you came home with hardware.
Never forget this moment. I surely won’t.
