CFA fencers are champions!  For the first time ever, one of our fencers won…not 1….not 2…but 3 medals in one day at an 11 state-wide Regional Youth Cup Tournament.  This time in St. Louis, Missouri. Joseph Guth got a sparkling Gold in his native age group of Y12, a Silver in Cadet (16 y.o. and under + an invitation to the US National Championships in this age category as a result), and 5th place in the Y14 age group which was the last event of that exhausting day.

Joseph was down 13-7 in the semifinal Cadet bout and did an amazing come back to win the bout hence the invitation to the US National Championships in the Cadet category! Nice job Joseph Guth!
